Made for Your Application
Silicone gasket sheet is converted into precision rings, frames and complex flat profiles for demanding temperature swings and outdoor or clean-environment applications. It is often chosen when ordinary rubber stiffens in cold conditions or loses performance at higher heat.
Material advantage
Silicone retains flexibility over a broad temperature range and resists ozone, weathering and many ageing effects better than general-purpose rubber.
Key features
- Wide thermal flexibility
- weather resistance
- transparent and coloured options
- low-odour grades
- precision die-cut profiles.

Manufacturing & Finish Options
Production process
Die cutting, waterjet cutting, CNC knife cutting, laser cutting and PSA lamination
Manufacturing notes
For thin, intricate profiles, cutter geometry and sheet support are chosen to protect soft silicone edges.
Adhesive options
Optional high-temperature acrylic PSA, silicone PSA and removable positioning adhesive.
Surface options
Smooth, matte, glossy, translucent, coloured, fabric-reinforced or release-lined surfaces.
Where It Fits
Best for
- High-temperature covers, lighting housings, ovens, outdoor enclosures, medical-device components and clean equipment interfaces where the grade is suitable.
Common industries
- Lighting, appliances, laboratory equipment, food equipment, electronics, medical devices and energy systems.
Consider another option when
Petroleum-fuel immersion, abrasive sliding surfaces, or high-pressure applications that need a reinforced engineered seal.

Design & Engineering Notes
Design guidelines
Allow sufficient gasket width for controlled compression and avoid sharp internal corners in very soft or thin grades.
Engineering notes
Silicone should be selected by its actual formulation; food, medical and flame-related claims require grade-specific documentation.
Selection Guide
Choose silicone for broad temperature flexibility, fluorosilicone for selected fuels and oils, and EPDM when lower-cost outdoor water sealing is sufficient.
Material comparison
Silicone generally withstands wider temperature swings than EPDM or NBR, while PTFE offers wider chemical resistance with less elastic recovery.
Standards & requirements
Customer drawings, compound data sheets and purchaser-specified compliance or cleanliness requirements.
Drawing Requirements
PDF, DXF, DWG, STEP, AI, CAD screenshots and dimensioned sketches can be reviewed. Don’t have a CAD drawing? A dimensioned PDF, sketch or clear image may be sufficient for an initial review.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why choose silicone instead of EPDM for a gasket?
Silicone is often chosen for a broader temperature range; EPDM can be more economical for many water and outdoor sealing uses.
Can silicone gaskets be transparent?
Yes. Translucent and clear silicone grades can be converted, subject to thickness and appearance requirements.
Does silicone resist oil and fuel?
General silicone is not the first choice for many fuel or petroleum-oil exposures; fluorosilicone or another compatible material may be needed.
Can silicone gaskets use adhesive backing?
Yes. High-temperature acrylic or silicone PSA can be applied for installation retention after surface compatibility review.
